The purpose of this seminar is to provide the participants with an analytical framework and practical tools to analyze and exploit information in corporate financial statements, to evaluate the financial performance of a company and use accounting-based measures to evaluate performance of business units and segments;

  • Seminar Objectives

    To familiarize participants with the key methods used to evaluate the financial standing of an entity by carrying out a diagnostic review of the key elements of a set of financial statements, shedding light on performance measures used to evaluate business units and divisions.  The seminar is accompanied with a number of case studies and will identify the major components of the credit risk evaluation process & if the entity is undergoing any financial distress;

     

    The seminar also provides the participants with an understanding of the Lebanese Chart of Accounts and methods for converting the Lebanese Trial Balance to Financial Statements.

    Throughout the seminar, participants will complete a comprehensive case study requiring analysis of a set of financial statements, and report of the company’s profitability, use of assets and financial strategies and weaknesses and finally determine if the company is undergoing any financial distress.
